Topic: West Nile Virus

Description

West Nile virus is a viral infection carried by mosquitoes. Most people infected with the virus have no symptoms.  About 20 per cent of people infected develop mild flu-like symptoms such as fever, fatigue and aching muscles. There is currently no drug to treat the infection or human vaccine to prevent it.
